Valve's digital distribution service, Steam, hit a new milestone over the weekend. The Steam & Game Stats page shows that on Sunday the service hit 9,168,454 concurrent users. The previous record of 9,068,104 was set on March 15.
Two games dominated the top games list - Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Dota 2 was the top played game during the peak with 851,707 concurrent users, while Counter-Strike: Global Offensive had 537,157 concurrent users. Other top games include Team Fortress 2 with 83,695 players, Sid Meier's Civilization V with 52,209 players, and Garry's Mod with 58,000 players.
