Grand Theft Auto V for the PC has been out for just over 24 hours and has already set a new record for non-Valve games on Valve's Steam service. The game hit a peak of 300,425 concurrent players today, according to the Steam & Game Stats page.
The previous record for a non-Valve game on Steam was set by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim back in November 2011. Skyrim peaked at 287,411 concurrent players at the time.
Steam Spy is also reporting that the game has already sold more than one million units on Steam.
