The Mortal Kombat universe is weird, weird enough that 80s movie icons don’t really seem all that out of place in it.

NetherRealm announced the first set of DLC characters for Mortal Kombat X a month before the game's release, and the characters included in the announcement were Tanya (MK), Tremor (MK), Predator (Predator series), and Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th series).

First to release is Jason, who will come out tomorrow, May 7th, for those who have the Kombat Pack. Everyone else will have to wait until May 12th to buy the Ultimate Horror Pack, which is priced at $7.99.

Included in this pack is Jason Voorhees as a playable fighter, Reptile’s Kraken skin, Ermac’s Pharaoh skin, and Mileena’s Vampiress skin.

Mortal Kombat X is currently available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are expected to launch later this year.
