Team 17 Hires Industry Vet Sam Forrest as PR Director

Indie publisher Team 17 has hired 20 year gaming industry veteran Sam Forrest as its new PR director.

"As our label of amazing and talented indie developers grow, so must the pedigree and experience of our senior marketing and commercial management team," said Team 17 MD Debbie Bestwick. "We are about to embark on a long and exciting journey of growth and global expansion and strong, experienced personalities such as Mickey, Chris, Harley and Sam and are exactly what we need to make this happen."

Forrest previously worked at Runescape developer Jagex as its vice president of communications and before that he spent nine years at THQ. Most recently he was hired to do freelance PR work for indie publisher Versus Evil.
