While the Wii U isn’t doing too hot in terms of sales, Nintendo has found great success with the launch of its Amiibos product line. These figures have become the hot new item to own, and certain characters are selling out nationwide in a matter of minutes.
Now, Nintendo has announced that a new Amiibo will be joining the May 29th wave in North America - a Silver Mario Amiibo, which will be priced at $12.99.
Unlike the Gold Mario Amiibo, which was exclusive to Walmart, this silver version will be available at all retailers. This silver Amiibo functions in exactly the same way as a normal Mario Amiibo, and works for all of the same games as well.
Exactly how many of these Amiibos Nintendo will supply is unknown, but it's safe to say that if you want one you'll need to act fast when it lands on North American shores on the 29th.
