Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi wants the next instalment in the franchise to be released before 2017. He has said he does not want people to wait a long time between releases and feels that a release date of 2017 or later is too long a wait.
Developer Polyphony is reportedly working hard to improve the impact physics for Gran Turismo 7, in an attempt to address some of the shortcomings of past entries.
