Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS has sold over 600,000 copies worldwide. To celebrate this achievement, Atlus has announced an “Atlus Best Collection” version of SMT IV for Japan.
The “Atlus Best Collection” series is Atlus’ version of a Greatest Hits line and this discounted version is set to release in Japan on October 8th for 2,980 Yen.
SMT IV has sold around 262,000 copies in Japan according to Famitsu, which means the game has sold about 340,000 copies outside of its native country. This makes Shin Megami Tensei IV the highest-selling non-Persona SMT game ever.
