GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that it will be bringing a remastered version of Grandia II to the PC.
Dubbed Grandia II HD Edition, this updated version of Game Arts' JRPG will contain upgraded visuals, the original Japanese voice acting, a new difficulty level, and controller support.
In the announcement Gungho Online only announced the title for GOG.com. Although no date was given, the press release states that it is coming "soon", so it shouldn't be that far off.
Grandia II was originally released in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast and later came to the PlayStation 2 in 2002. The HD rerelease is based off of the original Sega Dreamcast version of the title. Grandia received critical acclaim upon release, and it is highly regarded as one of the best JRPGs to release on Sega's final console.
