Nintendo UK Staff Promoted Following Staff Departures

Nintendo UK has announced that it has promoted three existing staffers following the departure of two members of the Nintendo UK team.

Michelle Horsley has been promoted to operations manager. Horsley was hired in 2009 as an operations executive.

Ian Deed is the new head of finance. He was hired in 2012 as a commercial manager.

Finally, Parham Shibaie is the new head of operations for the UK and Ireland and will be reporting to UK GM Simon Kemp. He joined Nintendo in 2006 as a trade analyst and rose up to become operations manager for the UK and Ireland in 2011.

The promotions follow the departure of UK junior PR manager, Emily Woolliscroft, and finance director, Tom Pearce.

"We are always pleased to be able to announce and to celebrate internal promotions and offer our congratulations to Par, Ian, Stuart and Michelle," said Nintendo's UK GM, Simon Kemp. "At the same time we are sad to be saying goodbye to two valued members of our team and wish Tom and Emily every luck in the next stages of their careers."
