The Windows 10 Edition Beta and Pocket Edition versions of Minecraft are set to receive new updates.
The 0.12.1 update for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta will allow cross-platform multiplayer for up to five players, as well as local multiplayer via LAN between Windows 10 PC, Windows Phone, iOS, and Android users.
The update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition features reworked touch controls and adds controller support. It will also bring across the weather effects from the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. Iron Golems, ocelots, and the ability to explore the Nether will also be added.
