System Shock Gets Enhanced Edition for PC

21 years after it first released, System Shock is getting an enhanced edition with new features.

System Shock, which originally released on September 22, 1994, is a seminal first-person action-role-playing game that heavily inspired games like Deus Ex and BioShock.

The enhanced edition comes with support for resolutions up to 1024x768 (compared to the original 640x480), native widescreen, and "more intuitive inventory and item management". It also provides some bug-fixes and remappable controls.

System Shock: Enchanced Edition is available to purchase starting today via GOG.com.
