FIFA 16 topped the UK sales chart in its first week on sale, according to GFK Chart-Track. However, physical sales are nevertheless down seven percent when compared to FIFA 15's first week.
Last week's top game, Destiny: The Taken King, is down one spot to second place, while Forza Motorsport 6 is also down one spot to third.
Skylanders Superchargers debuted in fourth, and sales of the game and its associated toys generated over £1 million. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain dropped to fifth as sales fell 31 percent week-over-week.
