Today - 18th October - marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Team Ico's PlayStation 2 masterpiece Shadow of the Colossus in North America. Whether it's by accident or design, a three-man development studio called No Matter Studios has also happened to unveil its debut project, called Prey for the Gods, and it's clearly heavily inspired by Shadow of the Colossus.
As you can see in the trailer and screenshots in this article, Prey for the Gods is instantly reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus.
The player engages in a brutal and largely isolated journey through a frozen land and must slay the Gods he worships in order to survive. The Gods in question are giant beasts which must be scaled, tricked and, ultimately, slain.
Prey for the Gods is in development for Windows PC and Mac.
