Bethesda's hugely successful RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was ported over to the Xbox One early on in the development cycle of Fallout 4.
This was done purely in order to aid in the development of Fallout 4, however, and so there are currently no plans to release the game on current generation consoles.
"The first thing we did was port Skyrim to Xbox One," Bethesda's Todd Howard told GameInformer. "Don't get your hopes up yet."
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim originally released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC in 2011.
