Sony has formed a strong partnership with third party developers and that will continue to be the case well into the future.
"We are going to be strong with games that we have developed and we will publish, but third party partnerships will continue to be important to us," PlayStation Europe president Jim Ryan told MCVUK.
"The days of a platform holder working in isolation are long-gone. It is a connected ecosystem and relationships with publishers operate on many levels – they will certainly continue to be really important in 2016."
The biggest games for the PlayStation 4 this holiday season are third party releases, with the likes of Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Destiny: The Taken King all set to perform incredibly well during the holiday period.
