The latest Star Wars game - Star Wars Battlefront - sold 4,658,169 units first week worldwide at retail, according to our estimates, which can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending November 21st.
Breaking down the sales by platform, the game sold best on the PlayStation 4 with 2,939,473 units sold (63%), compared to 1,547,019 units sold on the Xbox One (33%). The game also sold 171,677 Windows PC retail units (4%).
Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 2,141,423 units sold (46%), compared to 1,561,240 units sold in Europe (34%), and 126,723 units in Japan (3%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold 412,930 units in the UK, 291,882 units in Germany, and 256,497 units in France.
Star Wars Battlefront launched on November 17th in North America and November 19th in Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
