The December update for Rock Band 4 releases today and it introduces a new game mode that is designed for expert players - Brutal Mode.
Brutal Mode is a competition for guitar players that is available in solo play and multiplayer. In it, you can show off your skills and compete for prizes.
The difficulty actually changes based on how well you are playing and gets to the point where the note charts disappear. When you master the mode by completing a song you are rewarded with a new Star beyond Gold, called Crimson Star.
Three new songs are also releasing this week:
Between the Buried and Me - “The Coma Machine”
Opeth – “Heir Apparent”
Symphony X – “Nevermore”
