Last month Microsoft launched its backwards compatibility feature for the Xbox One, which allows users to play Xbox 360 games that they own on their Xbox Ones. Over 100 titles were made available at launch and more are constantly being added over time.
Now Microsoft's Phil Spencer has revealed that Microsoft is currently looking to enable users to purchase backwards compatible games directly through the Xbox One.
At present, the monthly free Xbox 360 Games with Gold games are automatically added to Xbox One backwards compatibility, however in order to download them on the Xbox One you need a credit card, despite them being free, because of how the system works on the Xbox 360.
