Lucasfilm President Wants to Develop Star Wars 1313 Further, Might Not be a Game

Lucasfilm has not given up on Star Wars 1313, despite the game's cancellation.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has told Slash Film that the content from the game was "gold" and not something you want to just throw away.

"Interestingly enough, that's an area we’ve spent a lot of time, reading through the material that he developed is something we very much would like to explore," said Kennedy when asked about the scripts for Star Wars: Underworld . "And there was 1313 the game."

"Unbelievable," added Kennedy about the concept art for the game. "So our attitude is, we don’t want to throw any of that stuff away. It’s gold. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to."

That does not mean Star Wars 1313 will necessarily return as a game - the content could well be utilised in a TV series or movie.
