Microsoft has made it possible to stream your Xbox One games onto your PC and is releasing a number of its upcoming games on both platforms. However, that doesn't mean the Xbox One is the last dedicated gaming console from Microsoft.
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has told The Verge that Microsoft isn't done releasing new video game consoles. The Xbox has a dedicated fan base that Microsoft wants to keep engaged.
"I fully expect that you’ll see another console from us […] Our best customers are Xbox console customers, and I want to keep those people engaged both on the Xbox One and anything we might do in the future. I’m 100 percent committed to that."
"I don’t want to dilute what the Xbox console customer feels. I want to expand what we’re able to do for more customers."
