Cloud Available Now for Super Smash Bros., Fire Emblem and Bayonetta Characters Revealed

Nintendo revealed today during its final Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct that Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII is available now as DLC for Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Cloud is priced at $6 is purchased on just one platform, or $7 if purchased for both. He features a unique Limit Break that is charged when he deals or takes damage and when using his Standard Down Special.

The main character from Fire Emblem Fates, Corrin, will also be joining the roster, and so too will Bayonetta, who will be the final DLC character for the game.

There will be male and female versions of Corrin available and his/her moves include a Dragon Ascent special that changes the character's appearance. Purchasing Corrin will net you two new musical tracks and the 3DS version will come with Ryomo and Xander trophies.

Fans of the game in Europe voted for Bayonetta to be the final DLC character for the game. She will come with a new stage - Umbra Clock Tower - as well as a Jeanne skin.

New Mii Fighter costumes were also announced. A Chocobo costume from Final Fantasy and a Geno costume from Super Mario RPG are available now.

The final wave of costumes will release in February 2016 and will include costumes based on a generic bionic character, as well as Takamaru, Ashley, Gil, Tails, and Knuckles.
