Studio head of The Coalition Rod Fergusson revealed during the livestreams for the Season 1 finals of the Gears of War ESL league that the Xbox 360 titles of the series that are playable on the Xbox One through backward compatibility have been popular.
Four of the nine most popular backward compatible titles were the original Gears of War game, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War: Judgement.
