In an interview with Famitsu, which has been translated by Siliconera, SNK Playmore's Yasuyuki Oda has revealed that The King of Fighters XIV will release with 50 characters.
Oda explained why the game will feature so many characters by telling Famitsu, "It wouldn’t be a KoF game with a small number of characters, after all."
The King of Fighters XIV will release on PlayStation 4 in 2016.
