Nintendo will be launching its first mobile app - Miitomo - in March and today the company announced that fans will be able to pre-register for Miitomo on the 17th of February.
Miitomo will launch on both iOS and Android mobile platforms and is a quirky Mii-based photo and chat app.
On February 17th you'll be able to sign up to Nintendo's new Nintendo Account system and access My Nintendo, which will introduce a new reward system that grants players two different kinds of points - gold points for the purchase of software and platinum for playing Nintendo apps and logging into its services.
