Electronic Arts does not mess around when it comes to unauthorized use of its assets.
A recently-released Trump supporter campaign video has been removed from social media platforms due to its use of narration, sounds, and music from the popular game Mass Effect 2. The video, entitled The Trump Effect, used a selection of stock footage that was played alongside a speech from the Illusive Man which was taken from Mass Effect 2's launch trailer.
Donald Trump retweeted the video which naturally led to it quickly going viral. A spokesman from Electronic Arts quickly released a statement saying the company does not support its assets being used in political campaigns.
