Dark Souls - The Board Game Kickstarter Gets Funded in Minutes

It looks like Souls fans can't get enough of the series. The latest entry - Dark Souls III - launched last week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, but fans are already eager for more, it seems.

A Kickstarter campaign for Dark Souls - The Board Game launched today and achieved its funding goal of £50,000 in a matter of minutes. At the time of writing it's raised over £330,000 from over 4,000 backers and doesn't look set to slow down anytime soon.

The board game is being developed by Steamforged Games with Bandai Namco's support and authorisation. The core game will include the following and the most basic tier will set you back £75:
