Studio Wildcard has announced that its arena-based spin-off for ARK: Survival Evolved, called ARK: Survival of the Fittest, will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 on July 19th.
ARK: Survival of the Fittest is what Wildcard calls a MOSA (Multiplayer Online Survival Arena); it pits tribes against one another in a battle to be last group standing. Players need to use their wits, resources, and ability to tame dinosaurs in order to emerge victorious.
The console version of the game will include split screen, LAN support, and possibly bots for offline practice.
