The marriage of the Total War and Warhammer licenses, as well as highly desirable pre-order/first week bonuses (Chaos Warriors faction DLC and an exclusive Warhammer-themed chest for Dota 2), seems to have paid off for The Creative Assembly, Sega, and Games Workshop.
The latest entry in The Creative Assembly's Total War series of strategy titles has managed to shift over 500,000 units within the first couple of days of release, making it the fastest-selling Total War game ever and comfortably the third most played game on Steam this week.
Total War: Warhammer launched on 24th May for Windows PC, Mac OS, and Linux.
