As was widely expected, State of Decay 2 was officially announced during Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference.
The sequel to the surprise 2013 hit State of Decay will feature RPG progression systems not just for individuals but also for bases and communities, four player co-op multiplayer, a choice-driven storyline that is unique to each player, and a large open world filled with dynamic interactions.
State of Decay 2 is set to launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017.
