The news comes courtesy of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata himself. During Nintendo's most recent Nintendo Direct Iwata announced that the latest Flipnote Studio will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS this summer and will be available as a free download on the Nintendo eShop.
Following on from the DSi's Flipnote Studio, Flipnote Studio 3D will give you the ability to create 3D animated 'masterpieces' with your 3DS. You'll also be able to use six colours in your animations, and share your creations via AVI or GIF format.
