Just recently I completed my copy of Metal Gear Rising; I have one thing to say... WOW! This game is so perfect in its own way! Gameplay is so solid and awesome; you slash enemies with your HF Blade and cut them up into a million pieces in any way you want. The unique engine used in the game allows for the user to cut at their will. Slice a head off, cut arms off, slash enemies in half, or just go nuts with it. Story wise, it's amazing! Voice acting and characters are awesome and really fit with the story. The game begins with Raiden escorting the African Prime Minister to a peace conference. You are attacked by unknown cyborgs and must fight them off. The PM is kidnapped by a very burly and buff cyborg that seems invincible. The first thing you notice is the lack of awesome armor Raiden has; you get it later after a surprising turn. You must then fight the new enemy (Sundowner, Sam, Mistral, Monsoon) and stop their plans of making a cyborg army. Added to this, there are many unlockables and easter eggs to find.

Stranger of Sword City (Vita) Review
Dungeon crawlers aren't a genre that are exactly well-known, although attempts by many publishers and developers in recent years have hoped to change that....

I'm very glad I did though. It was a top notch game. Certainly strange but in a very classic Metal Gear way. The story is weird, some of the mechanics different, and the controls are certainly designed specifically for that particular game BUT it worked as always.
