During the Nintendo Direct, they revealed the first ever trailer for Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and for 3DS. During the trailer, we got a glimpse of DK, Fox, Mario, Link, and Kirby duke it out with some gameplay and CG mixed in. When the screen faded black I thought to myself "awww man, that's it!". But then, the famous words "a new challenger has appeared" started to flash in my face. Mario, Link, Kirby, DK, and Fox all then looked toward a mountain. The camera panned up and revealed a short figure standing on top. With the moon light behind him, no one knew exactly who it was. That is, until a blue light emitted from his head showing a helmet appearing. Then, the eyes lit up with blue and jumped down the NES version of Mega Man. The trailer goes on by showing off his moves with CG; flame cannon, leaf shield, upper cut, buster cannon, charged buster, metal blades, sticky missile, a hand rocket, flame sword, shock blades, and a grapple. The game is expected to launch in 2014.
