Yesterday, Deep Silver revealed the first footage of gameplay for their newest game Saints Row 4. The gameplay featured the return of many Saints Row characters including Shaundi. If you played Saints Row 3, then you know that you had the choice of killing Killbane or saving Shaundi (now you know where you are in the story). Overall, the game visuals are a bit iffy. Characters lack detail in their skin, hair, and outfits. Besides from detail, the characters are accurate and are very well animated with great HD. They also debut the superpower factor for the big boss of the Saints. You receive powers such as Telekinesis, Strength, Ice, Fire, Super Jump, Super Glide (kinda like flying but not entirely), and you also have an arsenal of weapons. The gameplay footage debuted the Dubstep Gun (a large cannon that shoots rays of dubstep to freak the f*ck out of your enemies) the Squirtmaster (a water gun that shoot lasers) and the Black Hole Gun (shoots mini black holes that explode after it sucks up a few things). At first, you are set with how the boss looked at the beginning of Saints Row 3. The voice actors are also the same.
Many people are doubting that this game will be any good. I believe that these people are wrong. I think it's good that we have a comedy filled open world game (it really relieves stress if your mad at something). Granted, the game has changed a great deal since its first installment (it went from good old gang ops, to leading a gang, to crazy and raunchy humor, to super powered gangs).
I pre ordered the Collectors addition myself. I think that this game will be great and absolutely fun.
