In an E3 roundtable discussion posted today by GameReactor, Hideo Kojima primarily discussed the Metal Gear Solid V duology (Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain). But he also revealed that he was in the process of searching for a developer to remake the original Metal Gear Solid using the next-generation Fox Engine that is powering the Metal Gear Solid V games.
This would not be the first time that the PlayStation 1 classic gets a remake. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was developed by Silicon Knights and released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2004.
