Nintendo's Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist will not offer the offline co-op experience, it has been announced.
During an interview with Nintendo Life, Liu Jun, producer of the game, said that while Blacklist will support an online co-op mode, there will be no offline co-op because the studio ran out of time:
"In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren’t able to delve into [offline co-op], but we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles."
