Mine is RPG genre, mainly for the way, if done right it can drag you into the story and game as much as any book or movie can, and therefore keep you entertained for as long as youre willing to dedicate to the game.
The game that got me into these was originally Final Fantasy VII, but i later played Diablo II which sold me on the more action based western RPGs
