You may remember the first person shooter Moon, which was released on Nintendo DS back in 2009. It was fairly well received at the time, with a number of major review publications giving it glowing reviews, although others were more lukewarm in their enthusiasm.
The developer of that game - Renegade Kid - has announced an enhanced remake of their 2009 game for the Nintendo 3DS, called Moon Chronicles. Moon Chronicles will be episodic, with the first season featuring the entire DS game remade, and the second season, which will come out next year, featuring brand new story content.
The enhancements to Moon come in the form of a 60 fps framerate, enhanced graphics (see image above), intuitive touch screen controls, and Circle Pad Pro support.
The release breakdown for season 1 is as follows:
Episode 1: $8.99 (contains chapters 1 – 4 + 6 VR Missions: ~4 hours of gameplay).
Episode 2: $1.99 (contains chapters 5 – 8: ~2 hours of gameplay).
Episode 3: $1.99 (contains chapters 9 – 12: ~2 hours of gameplay).
Episode 4: $1.99 (contains chapters 13 – 16: ~2 hours of gameplay).
The announcement was made via IGN, who also posted a QR code that allows you to access screenshots of the game on your 3DS. Moon Chronicles will release this Spring.
