Rock Band and Dance Central developer Harmonix has announced a new game called Chroma. Chroma is a "music-driven, first-person, multiplayer shooter" developed in partnership with Hidden Path Entertainment (makers of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Defense Grid: The Awakening). It features "innovative first-person shooter mechanics that tie the game's soundtrack directly to combat, traversal, and more".
Players can choose classes and weapon loadouts that correspond to their specific musical tastes and personal style.
Chroma will be a free-to-play Steam title and will release later this year. Alpha sign-ups are now open.
