SuperBot Entertainment, developers of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, have become the latest company to suffer from layoffs. An undisclosed number of employees were laid off from the developer yesterday, just two months after PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was released in North America and Europe (a week ahead of its Japanese release).
Insomniac Games developer Mike Birkhead first broke the story on his Twitter feed, later replying that he heard about 20 employees lost their jobs. Later in the day, Sony confirmed the layoffs in a brief statement.
