I like both. I had played the three games of uncharted and love it. Also Tomb Raider underground and Tom Raider A survivor has born are excellent games. I hope there will be a sequel for the last of us.

Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, both games are some of the best games I have ever played, but The Last of Us is just phenomenal. Never before have I played a game just about 5 times through within the first 3 months of release, heck, I don't even know if I've ever played a game 5 times through. Right now, it's by far The Game of the Year and it could even be The Game of the Decade. That would say a lot for a game that's at the end of the current-gen cycle.

Gameplay is the major difference between the two. Last of Us presents a more exploration and strong story. Uncharted had those two factors, but it had like the puzzle. I've always had a thing for zombies, always got my attention. I find there both good games, but I felt that Last of Us had a more appealing story even if I didn't really like the ending much. Uncharted had the real action, felt like a movie. Loved it. I'm all for the Last of Us though :D

If Disney were smart (and confident that the core game was good), they'd bung in some of their newly owned LucasArts IP as well. I'd probably invest if there was a little Ben Throttle or Manny Calavera statue!

Yeah, it all depends on the branding
    — 10th April delete
  • Phil Smith
I think if Disney can get the marketing and PR right and sell this as a Disney-branded marriage of Skylanders and Minecraft, it'll fly of the shelves. But given their recent record of marketing and PR for games, that's a big IF!

— Brett, 25th January

Half-Life has finally been released for Mac, and is now available through Steam for $9.99. At the moment it only shows a Windows logo – at least on our end – but Cult of Mac has confirmed the news is legitimate. Go nuts Mac boys and girls.

Which is your favourite Zelda game?
— Brett, 21st January

The obvious choice is Ocarina of Time, but a lot of Zelda purists prefer Majora's Mask, the art style of Wind Waker and Skyward Sword or the charm of the old top-down versions. Which do you like best?

The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

To be totally honest Twilight Princess because of the graphics, gameplay, you get a way of transportation at the start, and the wolf link

Y'know. I never played OoT when it first came out. My two best friends at the time were into it completely, and even Majora's Mask back in the day, but I never had them or played them despite having an N64. It wasn't until the Wii came out and Nintendo released OoT for the VCon did I actually play it. I have to say, even though I didn't get to experience it in its golden years, the game was amazing and is my favorite Zelda game to date. Skyward, while fun, I hated the meaningless scavenger hunt quests that were there to only to lengthen the game. Otherwise, I enjoyed the gameplay and story.

I really couldn't get into skyward sword. I had it since last year and till now have yet to finish it. I will sometime but the initial experience fell short of my expectations. OoT, on the other hand, caught me by surprise and being one of the first 3D games, it really set the bar for me.

Mid to late November seems to be the most popular prediction and somewhere around the $250 for the base model - is this reasonable? Will you be getting one this year?

I think you're pretty much bang on there really; something around the 11th November in America, a week later WW, and prices of $250/ £199 sounds about right.

Personally I'd love to see a new Smash Bros, I can imagine there will be some pretty innovative uses of the Wii U GamePad for that. A new Mario Galaxy would be cool too...
