After what seems like an eternity since its release back in 2012, FTL: Faster Than Light has been re-released with new features and a new iOS copy of the game, retailing at £6.99/$9.99.
The Advanced Edition, which can be updated for free through whatever platform you purchased the game from originally, contains the following additional features:
An entirely new playable ship and race, the Lanius
10 new playable ship layouts
4 new Systems & Subsystems that drastically change gameplay
Over 15 new weapons & drones and 11 new ship Augmentations
New music from Ben Prunty and new events from writer Tom Jubert and guest writer Chris Avellone
Tons of other new content and gameplay tweaks and polish
FTL iPad 1
The iOS copy of the game contains all the same features as the PC version, and is available to play on iPad 2's and above. Due to screen limitations, the iOS version will not be available on iPhone.
