Bandai Namco Recruiting for Another Super Smash Bros. in 2015

Namco Bandai are apparently hiring for yet another Super Smash Bros., which will be released in 2015, Game Jouhou reports. This news comes a day before the Super Smash Bros-dedicated Nintendo Direct.

This was also posted on the job listing:

“Social games are currently a big hit, but the current state of job opportunities for making retail games is critically low. In the midst of this, this will likely be your only chance to be part of a development project for the Smash Bros. [series], which has surpassed a total of 10 million in worldwide sales. And Bandai Namco believes that now is the best time to recruit programmers for retail games.”

Siliconera checked the source, and found that the uploader of the now removed job listing has uploaded plenty of other jobs too, which leads us to believe this isn't a hoax.

However, it is possible that the game in question is simply an updated version of this year's Super Smash Bros. launch and will feature stages from both 3DS and Wii U versions. Either way, it certainly sets the stage for an interesting Nintendo Direct.
