Developer Silicon Studio has unleashed a tech demo which shows off the capabilities of their next-gen engine. The demo shows off real-time lighting and particle effects using Yebis 2 post-processing technology. The star of the show is a robot reminiscent of WALL-E who discovers a vintage camera.
The developer has found success in the recent title Bravely Default and is looking to expand. The tech demo serves not only as a platform for their new engine, but also as an advertisement for potential employees.
