Apparently a knife in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has sold for over $23,000. Approach this one with some caution, as the buyer is remaining anonymous and the description is apparently wrong, but these sorts of figures for in-game items aren't unheard of - just a few months ago an item in Dota 2 sold for $38,000.
The knife in question is a StatTrak M9 Bayonet Crimson Web - Factory New. I honestly have no idea what's so good about the item that it's worth so much money, but if you're a fan of CS: GO and you do then feel free to fill us in a little.
