The debut trailer for this year's Call of Duty title, named Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, has been released. The trailer was planned to be released on Sunday May 4, but it was leaked earlier today and so the trailer has been published early.
This is indeed Sledgehammer's Call of Duty title. The trailer reveals a number of details, including a likely futuristic setting filled to the brim with advanced weaponry, vehicles and armour including a hovering bike, holographic technology, and a power suit. The plot, meanwhile, appears to revolve around PMCs and a future where those groups dominate around the world.
The trailer also reveals a release date of November 4, 2014, which lines up with the release dates for previous Call of Duty games. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to be the first Call of Duty title to be released as part of the new three year development cycle.
