According to a Walmart flyer, the Super Smash Bros. themed 3DS XL, which was already announced for Europe, will be making its way to the US later this month. Unlike the European bundle, the US release will not include a copy of the game, however it will be available in both red and blue colors.
The special edition systems will be available September 19th and will retail for $199.96.
