Developers Westone Bit Entertainment are about to file for bankruptcy. The studio, which was founded in 1986, is probably best known for developing the Wonder Boy series of platformers throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
The studio released over 40 games over its lifetime - mostly Japanese releases - and was a feature of numerous platforms, from the Game Gear to Xbox Live Arcade.
This move will put all Westone games released on Xbox Live and PSN into a state of hiatus, so if you're considering buying one of their games on either of those digital marketplaces now is the time to do so.
