Years before EA's planned re-imagining of the franchise with DICE at the helm, Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was being developed by Free Radical Design. The game was canned before any official announcement was made, but this hasn't prevented pre-alpha game footage from surfacing since then.
At the link below you'll find two videos featuring some of the game's pre-alpha footage - half an hour of footage in total. It offers an interesting glimpse of a game we could all have been playing a few years ago.
The re-imagined Star Wars: Battlefront is currently being developed by EA's DICE, and is expected to release in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
