Al-Mualim was a character in Ubisoft's action-adventure Assassin Creed and the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins. He was also the tutor to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, his successor, and secretly a member of the Knights Templar. In his desire to obtain power through the Apple of Eden, he began to work with the Templars and betrayed the Assassin Order until his death at the hands of Altair.
