Tamir was a character in Ubisoft's action-adventure Assassin Creed, a black market merchent, and part of the Templar Order. He ran the largest black market in Damascus and sold to both Crusaders and Saracens. He made no apologies for being a death-dealer, seemingly proud of the countless lives that were taken by his weapons. Due to is cruel behavior toward innocent citizens and merchants, Altair was sent in to assassinate him.
